I was gifted 10 personal training sessions with Emily by my Mum and Brother to help me get 50 ready! This was by far my favourite gift, I loved learning more about weight training and Emily was always fun and positive and we shared a lot of laughs along the way. Em is an incredible Personal Trainer. She is highly motivating and positive – the sessions she leads are diverse and interesting and she’s so lovely that you don’t realise how hard you’ve worked until it’s all over! She knows her stuff and helps you to tone up and feel good! Em understands a lot about nutrition too and passes on great tips for a balanced and healthy lifestyle without pushing any silly / fad diets! I first went to see Emily 7 weeks after my c section with my 3rd child. She was very aware of my physical weaknesses and was very caring towards me and my baby. My baby remained with us for all our sessions which Emily made very easy. After a few sessions I realised that our sessions were going to help with my emotional health as much as my physical health. I haven’t ever been keen on exercise and working out in such a calm and supportive environment was such a great motivator for me. Emily’s sessions were gentle but motivating when needed and energising and challenging on other occasions, she remained supportive, flexible and motivating throughout all our sessions. Emily is friendly, motivating and always manages to make me smile, even during press-ups! I have a young baby and Emily has helped me to shed some of the post baby weight (and tone my tummy) in a safe and controlled way. I’m not a natural mover when it comes to exercise so was a little nervous about working out with a personal trainer for the first time. Emily helped me put my insecurities to one side and by the end of our first session I realised that i COULD do it! Yes my body ached the next day and the day after but I felt so good about myself and the fact that I could exercise for an hour doing a mixture of cardio and strengthening was encouraging. I look forward to our sessions every week as we always do something different which is great as it mixes it up. Training with Emily is both fun and challenging. Emily really listened to my goals and thanks to her planning our sessions are varied and personal.
